Jean Hollenstein, D.V.M, Owner.
Dr. Jean Hollenstein (owner) graduated from U of MN CVM in 1988. She has practiced small animal medicine and surgery in central Minnesota since then. She has studied holistic therapies extensively and finds the integration of Western Medicine with other modalities such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, and Osteopathy (manual therapy) to be the greatest benefit to her patients. Her hobbies include reading, music, theater, and hopefully someday, gardening!
Paige Gabrielson, DVM
Dr. Paige Gabrielson grew up in Alexandria, MN. In her youth, she was very active in 4-H, orchestra, sports, and additional extracurriculars. She grew up showing horses competitively locally, at the state and national levels. Paige completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with minors in chemistry and music. She received her DVM at Colorado State University in 2023, along with her certification in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture (cVMA) at CuraCore Academy. Paige then went on complete a yearlong rotating internship at an equine referral center serving Ocala, FL. Paige is excited to be back in her local community and sharing her passion of healing animals and connecting with clients. Dr. Paige is currently completing her certification in equine spinal manipulation. Her veterinary interests include small animal preventative medicine, shockwave, and equine acupuncture, spinal manipulation, BEMER therapy, lameness, dentistry, preventative care, and emergency medicine. She looks forward to incorporating her experience of adjunctive therapies along with traditional Western Medicine. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, music, exercise, and riding/showing horses.
Kelly, CVT, Practice Manager
Kelly graduated from Ridgewater College in Wilmar MN with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2012. She worked as a CVT at GRVC for about 8 years before becoming the Practice Manager. Her special veterinary interests include anesthesia, dental cleanings, and client education.
In her spare time Kelly enjoys spending time with her children, gardening, fishing, and being outside with her dogs.

Nicole, Inventory Manager
Nicole started working at GRVC in 2009. She began her career as a vet assistant and has filled numerous positions around the clinic. Nicole soon furthered her role into Inventory Manager.
In her spare time, Nicole tends to her beef cattle, horses, and donkeys. Her favorite pass time is being outside and spending time with her little weiner dogs, Gracie and LB. Nicoles favorite quote is. ‘It is, what it is.’
Alayni, Lead CVT
Alayni graduated from Ridgewater College in Wilmar, MN with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2016. She worked as a Veterinary Technician for 6 years at GRVC before moving into the Head Technician role. Her special interests include; dental cleanings, talking with clients, blood collection, and IV catheter placement.
In her spare time Alayni enjoys dart league with her friends, being outdoors, wrangling her children, camping, and cleaning/organizing.

Jami, CVT
Jami graduated from Ridgewater College in Wilmar, MN with an associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2014. She has worked as a CVT at GRVC since 2014. Her special veterinary interest include feline behavior, dental cleanings along with dental xrays, and performing blood draws.
In her spare time Jami enjoys playing her daughter, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.

Sara, CVT
Sara graduated with a BS from NDSU in 2015. She majored in Veterinary Technology and minored in Large Animal and Equine. She enjoys puppy training, anesthesia, and reproduction.
In her free time, Sara enjoys paddle boarding with her dog; Bravo, spending time with her kids, camping, fishing, and reading.

Natalie, Kennel Manager
Natalie graduated from ATCC with an associates degree in Exercise Science in 2021. She began her career at GRVC in the fall of 2022 as a kennel assistant. Natalie takes care of the animals and also assists the veterinary technicians in their jobs.

Shannon, Medical Scribe
Shannon graduated from ATC in Alexandria, MN with a degree in Medical Secretary in 1997. She worked for 1 year at the Alex Clinic in the transcription department and then she worked from home as a transcriptionist for 20 plus years. Shannon began working at GRVC in 2017 for Dr. Jean and loves it.
Her hobbies include horses, and showing and breeding Bernese Mtn. Dogs. Shannon loves reading Stephen King novels.
